Let’s be honest, the more photogenic the food is, the more excited I am to eat it.

For all of the foodies out there like myself who love to shamelessly snap a picture (or five) of their beautiful ice cream cone or to-die-for pizza to show all of their Instagram followers, here are of some of the most aesthetically pleasing foods that I have found in College Park.

Try not to eat the whole thing before you remember to take a picture of your delicious treat.

1.  Blaze Pizza

Blaze’s build-your-own pizza option allows you to create your own masterpiece, and make it as aesthetically pleasing as you want. You can put colorful veggies and sauce on it or you can load it up with all of your favorite meats. Once your creation is finished you can sit down and snap a picture before you devour the whole thing.

2.  Shanghai Tokyo Café Sushi

Nothing screams picture worthy more than a mouth-watering roll of sushi. Shanghai has all of the classic rolls, as well as sashimi bowls with fresh fish that will make all of your sushi-loving friends jealous when they see your photo. My personal favorite is the Godzilla roll.

3. Insomnia Cookies

You’re bound to have one of those late nights when you and your friends are craving some warm Insomnia cookies, and luckily they can be delivered right to your door within minutes. When your chocolaty assortment arrives in that signature Insomnia box you can’t resist having a mini photoshoot with your cookies before indulging.

4.  Maryland Dairy Ice Cream

One of the University of Maryland’s signature food items is the to-die-for ice cream from the Maryland Dairy in the Stamp. Before you leave campus you have to try one of the many delicious flavors that the dairy serves, whether it be the “Fear the Turtle” white chocolate ice cream swirled with caramel and pecans, or the Rocky Road, try not to eat the whole thing before you remember to take a picture of your delicious treat.

5.  Sweet Green

Eating healthy can be fun when you can customize your salad to match your beloved Instagram flow. Sweet Green lets you put whatever you want in your salad, and leave out whatever you don’t want—I’m talking to all of you, olive haters.

Spice up your picture with some greens, sweet potatoes, avocado, tomatoes, chicken, and top it off with a colorful side of one of their signature iced teas. It definitely won’t disappoint your following and it may even inspire one of your snapchat friends to go customize a salad of their own.
